I recommend that organisations use Google calendars and share their public events. Google calendars can be private or published, to selected email addresses or to the web in general. Other people can import published calendars into their own calendars. The privacy conditions are good. To make a calendar, you must have a Google Account, this is free. Using Google calendars is easy, I recommend you try it and make your own personal one, including your events and also those of the ICB. Graham

The following information is taken from Google Calendar Overview

Google Calendar makes it easy for you to share events and publish events and calendars on your website. If your website mentions events — including reservations, appointments, conferences and shows, Google Calendar can help your users find this information and easily add it to their own calendars. Using Google Calendar, you can add events and invitations effortlessly, share with friends and family (or keep things to yourself), and search across the web for events you might enjoy. It's organizing made easy. f you choose to share your calendar with others, you can create a webpage where they can browse through your calendar — even if they don't have a Google Calendar account. You can also embed an interactive calendar of your events into your website or blog.
